Trump announces appointment of senior White House officials

 

US President-elect Donald Trump has announced the appointment of four top advisors from his presidential campaign as senior White House officials, Trump’s transition team said in a statement, Paralel.Az reports citing TASS.

Dan Scavino, one of Trump’s longest serving and most trusted aides, will be assistant to the president and deputy chief of staff.

Stephen Miller will take the position of assistant to the president and deputy chief of staff for policy and homeland security advisor. Miller previously served in the Trump White House as senior advisor to the president for policy.

James Blair will serve as assistant to the president and deputy chief of staff for legislative, political and public affairs. Earlier, Blair was the Trump campaign and Republican National Committee political director.

Taylor Budowich will be appointed as assistant to the president and deputy chief of staff for communications and personnel. Prior to joining the Trump campaign, he served in a senior role in Trump’s political action committee (PAC), Save America, and as CEO of the pro-Trump Super PAC, MAGA Inc.
