"There is direct communication not only between the administrations of the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia but also through Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other departments," Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan told journalists, Paralel.Az reports citing Sputnik Armenia.

He stated that proposals regarding the peace agreement were exchanged through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and that Yerevan presented the seventh package of proposals to Baku at the beginning of January.

Mirzoyan noted that the important point for Yerevan is not the presence of mediators, but the content of the negotiations.

At the press conference dedicated to the results of 2023, the Minister noted that the Armenian Foreign Ministry has not received a proposal for a meeting at the border from Baku, but has heard about such an initiative.
