Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu met with Austria’s newly appointed ambassador to the Russian Federation John William Giering as the doyen of the diplomatic corps in Russia, Paralel.Az's Russian bureau reports.

During the meeting, a lot of issues, as well as the existing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia were discussed.

Ambassador Giering was informed about the state of the ceased conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia and noted that Austria always supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan.

Transport communication issues in the region were discussed during the meeting.

Polad Bulbuloglu talked of the development of the North-South corridor, the construction of the road passing Iran’s territory and highlighted that Baku supports the restoration and opening of all communications in the region as soon as possible.
