Five persons lost their lives in a fire at a hospital in Uelzen, south of the German city of Hamburg, a police spokesperson confirmed on Friday evening, Paralel.Az reports citing The Brussels Time.

Three victims passed away at the scene of the fire, on Thursday night, while another succumbed after being transported to a different hospital. A fifth individual failed to survive their injuries and died in hospital on Friday afternoon, the spokesperson said.
