After the September events the Western countries, especially France applied double standards, said Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center) at a press conference on AIR Center's activities for 2023, Paralel.Az reports.

According to him, France openly wages a diplomatic war against Azerbaijan: “France has three times submitted documents to the UN Security Council against Azerbaijan and all of them failed. The last document was submitted in July. We haven’t created this tension, they have. Not only issues such as the Armenian diaspora play a role here, but also other issues, relations with Türkiye. To my information, some French diplomats don’t support this policy. It is the choice of the political leadership of France”.
