"A solution that ensures the legal interests and security of the Turkish people in Cyprus is one of Türkiye's most important priorities," said Turkish National Defense Minister Yashar Güler, Paralel.Az's Turkish correspondent reports.

He noted that the only solution on the island is the registration of the sovereign equality and international status of the Turkish Cypriot people:

"We once again declare that we will do our best to ensure peace, security and prosperity in Cyprus, which is our national issue, within the framework of the Treaties of Guarantee and Alliance, as we have done so far."
