Last year, 18 Russian citizens sought asylum in Armenia, the Statistics Committee of Armenia said, Paralel.Az reports.

According to information, a total of 950 foreigners applied to Yerevan for asylum. Ukrainian citizens (472), Iraqi citizens (199), Iranian citizens (101) are leaders among them.

It was noted that the outflow of residents of Armenian nationality voluntarily leaving Azerbaijan's Garabagh heading to Russia, France, and other countries is observed.
