150 km new roads were built in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, 354 km roads were thoroughly reconstructed, was noted during the meeting on report of the results of the service-combat activities of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan in 2023, Paralel.Az reports.

“2661 hectares of land was cleared of landmines and unexploded ordnance, 1598 anti-personnel mines, 1763 anti-tank mines, 518 unexploded ordnance was neutralized,” – was noted.

Moreover, among the main achievements of Azerbaijan’s State Border Service in 2023, the enemy snipers, the combat post and the dislocation station being neutralized on June 15, as a response to the enemy's provocation that got a border guard serving at the exit point from the Lachin state border injured as a result of the firing from the territory of the Republic of Armenia, was noted.
