Russian air defense intercepted a batch of Ukrainian drones on Thursday, the Russian Defense Ministry announced, Paralel.Az reports citing TeleTrader.

According to the report, nine unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) were destroyed and intercepted over the Moscow and Kaluga regions.

Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said that the country's air defense forces in the Naro-Fominsk city district repelled a drone attack aimed at Moscow.
