The employees of the Customs Department of Tovuz stopped an attempt to illegally import a large number of medicines into the country, the Office of Press and Public Relations of the State Customs Committee told Paralel.Az.

"Thus, on the basis of operational information received by the department's operation and investigation department, a customs inspection was implemented on a cargo vehicle driven by a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan from the Republic of Türkiye at the "Girmizi Korpu" customs post located on the border with Georgia. During the inspection, a large number of medicinal preparations containing 147 types were found and taken from 18 cardboard boxes that were not declared to the customs body from the trailer of the vehicle," said information.
