Russian MFA Spokeswoman: Pashinyan's refusal of CSTO summit and Yerevan-Kyiv friendship are links of one chain

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's refusal to participate in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) summit, the expansion of Western arms supplies to Armenia, and the friendship between Yerevan and Kyiv are the links of a chain, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing, Paralel.Az reports.

"After the complete failure of the Western plans in Ukraine, they cling to Armenia with a beastly grip and try to tear it away from Russia," Zakharova said.

Zakharova stressed that Moscow views the Armenian leadership - Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's refusal to participate in the CSTO summit in Minsk, the expansion of the supply of Western weapons to the republic, and the recent steps, including the sudden friendship between Yerevan and Kyiv, as links of a chain.
