The theft took place in the Tovuz region. A resident of the area contacted the police regarding the theft of cash from his home.
As the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told Paralel.az, law enforcement officers arrived at the address and took appropriate measures. During the investigation, it turned out that 2,550 manats were stolen from the citizen's house.
The suspect Fariz Iskendarov, who lived in a rented house, was detained. He admitted that he knew the owner was at the wedding, so he took the opportunity to enter the house through the window and steal money from the owner.
Investigations are underway.
