Azerbaijani female judoka Irina Kindzerska has reached the semifinals of the Tokyo Olympics.
Our athlete, who weighed in at over 78 kilograms, defeated Mijin Handa (Republic of Korea) in the quarterfinals. In the next round, our judoka will face Akira Sone from Japan.
Our judoka had his first match against Larisa Tseriçə (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and won with ippon.
