The citizen noted that on 15.02.2021 he ordered 3 apartment doors from the European Gates company: “On 10.02.2021, when the company's representative Shahlar Muallim was measuring the doors, I paid five hundred manats. But I was not given a cashier's check for the money I paid. Rasmiyya Maharramova, who accepted the order on 05.03.2021, asked me if the doors were ready and I had to pay the remaining debt to the company. On March 6, 2021, I paid 500 manats out of 554 manats of my debt. The total cost of the order was 1,054 manat. We agreed that the remaining 54 manat will be paid after the doors are installed. At the time of this payment, I was still not issued an official financial document, cashier's check or receipt order. They brought the doors on 11.03.2021, but they were not what I ordered. It was a completely different door that didn't suit my needs. I returned the doors and the next day I went to the company's head office on Teymur Aliyev Street and asked for a refund of the amount I had paid - 1,000 manat. Unfortunately, only once was I able to talk to Agil, one of the company's executives. I kept in touch with the company several times, repeatedly wanted to go and see the manager, but no reaction was given to the problem I faced and no action was taken. I repeatedly called the hotline of the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy, but to no avail.
I was left helpless and appealed to the Narimanov District Prosecutor's Office. I was also told that the district police was aware of this. But so far no news has come from the prosecutor's office or the police. Then I appealed to the Free Consumers Union and higher government agencies. However, to date, no government agency has provided practical assistance in this matter. I ask the company to pay the 1,000 manat I paid in the form of compensation for moral and material damage caused to me, and to inform the media and relevant government agencies about these illegal actions of the European Gates Company. ”
