On September 2, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with a delegation led by the Deputy President of the Malaysian Senate Nur Jazlan Mohamed, who was in Azerbaijan to observe the snap parliamentary elections, the Foreign Ministry told Paralel.Az.

During the meeting, the parties discussed Azerbaijan-Malaysia bilateral and multilateral relations, the process and results of the snap elections to the Milli Majlis held on September 1, 2024, as well as regional issues.

The parties also exchanged views on other matters of mutual interest.
