The Space Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan (Azercosmos) has signed a cooperation agreement with Tajikistan's ZET Mobile mobile operator, the Agency told Paralel.Az.

According to the Agency, ZET Mobile will facilitate the provision of high-quality communication services in Tajikistan's remote regions using the Azerspace-2 satellite.

Access to communication services in Tajikistan is often limited to major cities. The collaboration with Azercosmos will contribute to both the digital infrastructure of Tajikistan and the socio-economic development of remote areas.

Using the services of the Azerspace-2 satellite, the ZET Mobile operator will enable its customers to benefit from communication and internet services in vehicles, government and private institutions, as well as in remote areas.
