"It is very pleasing to note the initiation of the demarcation and delimitation processes between Azerbaijan and Armenia," Russian President Vladimir Putin stated during his speech at the first plenary session of the 16th BRICS Summit in the Outreach/BRICS+ format held in Kazan, Paralel.Az's Russia bureau reports.

According to him, the start of the delimitation and demarcation processes is the right path toward a peace agreement.

Putin also noted that the exchange of views between the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia during the BRICS+ summit added positive value to the event.
