Baku may be the first city to be awarded the title of "City of Labor Glory," the Secretary General of the CIS Sergey Lebedev said, Paralel.Az's Moscow correspondent reports.

According to him, Baku, Tashkent, and other capitals could be the first to receive the title of "City of Labor Glory" within the CIS.

Note that Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed the establishment of the title "City of Labor Glory" during the summit of the CIS heads of state.

The President of the Russian Federation noted that this would serve as a symbol of recognition and respect for the collective heroism of the peoples who contributed to the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
