Russian president awards Order of Alexander Nevsky to Polad Bulbuloglu
Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded Polad Bulbuloglu the Order of Alexander Nevsky for strengthening cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan, Paralel.Az's Moscow correspondent reports.
The Russian head of state signed a decree on this today.
Recall that Polad Bulbuloglu served as Azerbaijan's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Russia in 2006-2024. Since 2018, he has been the doyen of the diplomatic corps in Russia. On September 1, 2024, he was elected a member of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) from the Garabagh region of Azerbaijan.
