Under the organization of the Shusha City State Reserve Department, "Shusha Days" were held in Uzbekistan's city of Khiva, which is sistered with Azerbaijan's Shusha, Paralel.Az reports.

During the events held on September 11-12, the Special Representative of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Shusha district Aydin Karimov met with the Governor of Khiva Temur Davletov. They discussed the strengthening of relations between the two sister cities, the development of connections in the fields of science, culture, and creativity, and the importance of experience exchange.

Since February 24, 2023, Shusha and Khiva have been sister cities.
