Armenian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vahan Kostanyan has congratulated Majid Takht Ravanchi on his appointment as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Paralel.Az reports citing Armenpress.

Kostanyan announced on X that he had a telephone conversation with Ravanchi following his appointment.

"We appreciate Iran's support to Armenia's territorial integrity. We exchanged views on recent developments on this regard," Kostanyan said in his post.

In response, Ravanchi confirmed the conversation on X, highlighting Iran’s commitment to strengthening relations with all its neighbors.

“I reiterated our strong desire to strengthen relations with all our neighbors. I also expressed our principled position on inviolibility of int'l borders. I gladly accepted his invitation to visit Yerevan,” he posted.
