The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has met with Ali Ahmadian, the secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), Paralel.Az’s Russian bureau reports citing press service of Kremlin.

According to the report, Putin said that he is waiting for the visit of President of Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian to Russia, including the signing of a new agreement between the two countries.

Putin also noted that friendly relations between the Russian Federation and Iran have gained additional dynamics in recent years.
