A memorandum was signed between the Baku Initiative Group and the Maore Committee within the framework of the conference "The Illegal Occupation of Mayotte Island by France in the Union of Comoros", Paralel.Az reports.

According to the document, support will be provided to the region in question in solving various social problems and in other matters.

Noted that the states included in the Union of the Comoros are French colonial territories.
