The Spanish Meteor Network (SPMN) stated that a ballistic missile could have travelled over Spain on Friday night, Paralel.Az reports citing TASS.

"We are currently considering two hypotheses: a ballistic missile or an [object] re-entry," the agency said on its X page.

According to the scientists, the object that came from France, traveled over the autonomous communities of Catalonia and Valencia and fell into the sea.
