In Batumi, Georgia, the Chacha Clock Tower, which once cost the government $300,000 to build, has been demolished, Paralel.Az reports citing NewsGeorgia.
The city administration issued the order for the demolition.
It has been announced that a recreational park will be built on the site of the tower in the near future.
The Chacha Clock Tower was constructed during Mikheil Saakashvili's presidency.
