“Countries suffering from French colonialism have been invited to the COP29 summit to be held in Baku,” said Abbas Abbasov, the head of the Baku Initiative Group, to journalists, Paralel.Az reports.

"States suffering from French colonialism have been invited to participate in the 29th session of the UN Conference of Parties on Climate Change (COP29) to be held in Baku. There are serious environmental problems in those areas. All these problems will be highlighted at the COP29 event to be held in Baku."

Recall that the first Congress of Independence Movements from French-colonized territories, Organized by the People's Union for the Liberation of Guadeloupe with the support of the Baku Initiative Group, bringing together leaders from more than 15 political parties and independence movements from Corsica, Melanesia, Polynesia, the Caribbean, and the Antilles islands, all of which are experiencing French colonialism, is being held in Baku, Azerbaijan.
