More than 100,000 different types of fish are bred in Hekeri Fishing Farm located in Azerbaijan’s Lachin, Paralel.Az’s correspondent assigned to Lachin reports.

The director of the farm, Fariz Shirinov, talks about the future plans of the enterprise he leads:

“Currently, there are more than 100,000 fish here. Our goal is to grow and sell fish. In addition to fish meat, caviar production is planned in the upcoming years. At the current stage, we have organized the sale of fish only in Lachin, and in the future it is planned to export them to other regions of Azerbaijan and to the European markets.”
