Media: Armenia's satellites have been requested to be recalled from space

A number of countries have demanded Armenia's "Ayasat-1" and "Armsat-1" satellites be recalled from space because they interfere with the work of their satellites, Paralel.Az reports citing "Johovurd" newspaper.

According to the report, the reason for this is that their preparation for the launching process was carried out at an unprofessional level.

Avet Poghosyan, Deputy Minister of High-tech Industry of Armenia, who used to work as a taxi driver in the United States before his assignment to launch satellites into orbit, was in charge.

It should be noted that the process of launching both satellites was carried out from the Vandenberg base of the US Air Force in 2022 and 2023, respectively.
