"After the new President takes office in Iran, our main expectation is the further development of relations with Azerbaijan," Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov told reporters, Paralel.Az reports.

"As you know, recently a presidential elections were held in Iran and a new President was elected. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev addressed a congratulatory letter to him (Masoud Pezeshkian) on this occasion. I would also like to note that we are interested in the implementation of the projects agreed between Azerbaijan and Iran from now on as well," the Minister added.
