Marine Le Pen of the National Rally commented on Sunday on the initial projections of the French National Assembly election, which currently put her far-right party in third place, Paralel.Az reports citing TF1 TV.

"Our victory has been merely delayed. I see the seeds of tomorrow's victory in today's result," she told TF1 TV. Le Pen went on to criticize President Emmanuel Macron saying that he is in an "untenable" position.

As of now, the New Popular Front is in the lead with 172-192 seats, followed by Macron's centrist alliance with 150-170 seats.
