Azerbaijan determines the identity of 20 more people missing in the First Karabakh War
The General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Military-Medical Directorate of the State Security Service, the Union of Forensic Expertise and Pathological Anatomy of the Ministry of Health, the Demining Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA), represented in the State Commission for Captives and Missing, Hostaged Citizens (State Commission), As a result of the actions carried out by the specialist staff of the Institute of Archeology and Anthropology of ANAS, the identities of 20 more people missing in the First Karabakh War were determined.
Regarding the results of the identification, on June 25, 2024, a meeting with the families of the missing persons was organized by the State Commission's working group, their fates were clarified and their questions were answered.
The following is the list of citizens who went missing in the first Karabakh war, whose identities were determined in the process of identifying the remains of the bodies discovered:
