“We believe that the fight against colonialism in those territories should be carried out based on the norms and principles of international law. The independence of the French colonial regions should be ensured on the basis of United Nations Resolution No. 1514, that is, the right to self-determination. Our position is exactly the same as that resolution,” Abbas Abbasov noted.
