Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdullahyan's statements about the possibility of direct negotiations with the United States caused a scandal in the country, Paralel.az reports.
A group of students and teachers from the Gum scientific pool (religious madrasah) demanded that the Iranian parliament take "revolutionary" measures against Abdullahyan.
In a statement, they urged the minister to correct his "such inappropriate and illogical" views and not repeat the "naivete" and "mistake" made by the Rouhani and Zarifi government.
