The remains of the martyr Niyaz Novruzov, whose burial place and identity were determined after 32 years, were handed over to his family, Paralel.Az's local bureau reports.

A farewell ceremony was held for martyr Niyaz Novruzov in the village of Veyisli, Goranboy district, where he was born.

The remains of the martyr were buried in the Veyisli village cemetery.

The Goranboy District Executive Authority's leadership, law enforcement agencies, and public representatives attended the funeral ceremony.

Niyaz Novruzov went missing in September 1992 during the fighting in the Aghdara region.

It was discovered that he was buried as an unknown martyr in the Alley of Martyrs in Tartar, and his identity was determined.
