Azerbaijan advanced by 35 ranks in World Bank's Women, Business and Law ranking
Azerbaijan has increased its index from 78.8 to 85 in the 2024 edition of the World Bank's report-rating on Women, Business and the Law, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan told Paralel.Az.
Azerbaijan has moved up by 35 ranks in that report-rating, has risen to the 69th place among 190 countries from the 104th place last year.
Increasing the participation and employment opportunities of women in the labor market is one of the main priorities of social reforms in Azerbaijan.
Thus, as a positive result of the steps taken, the significant progress of Azerbaijan in the international ranking was ensured.
