Two solar and two lunar eclipses to be observed in 2025
2 solar and 2 lunar eclipses will occur in 2024, noted the Department of Astrophysics of Physics Faculty of Baku State University told Paralel.Az.
The 1st solar eclipse of 2025 will be on March 29, a partial solar eclipse. The eclipse will begin on March 29 at 12:50:35 and end at 16:43:25.
The 2nd partial solar eclipse of 2025 will occur on September 21. The eclipse will begin on September 21 at 21:29:32 and end on September 22 at 01:53:33.
The first lunar eclipse of 2025 will take place on March 14. This is a total lunar eclipse. The eclipse will begin at 09:09:33 and end at 12:47:48.
The 2nd total lunar eclipse of 2025 will occur on September 7. The eclipse will begin on September 7 at 20:27:02 and end at 23:56:26.
It was noted that it will be possible to observe the total lunar eclipse from the territory of Azerbaijan from the evening until midnight.
