On April 19 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov has made a phone call to Mohammad Mustafa , the Prime Minister of Palestinian Authority, as well as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Palestine, Paralel.Az reports citing Azerbaijani MFA.

According to the information, during the telephone call, the issues on the current bilateral and multilateral cooperation agenda between Azerbaijan and Palestine, as well as the situation in Gaza, were discussed.

Azerbaijani Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has congratulated Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa on his appointment to this important position. Palestinian Prime Minister, in his turn, sincerely congratulated Azerbaijan on the occasion of the chairing of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
