“We have serious obligations in connection with the climate change at the next level,” Vladanka Andreeva, the resident coordinator of the United Nations to Azerbaijan, at the meeting of the Government-UN Joint Steering Committee on the implementation of the Framework Document on Sustainable Development Cooperation between the UN-Azerbaijan for the years 2021-2025, Paralel.Az reports.

She underscored that 32.2 million US dollars were spent on the measures implemented last year, part of which was on basic institutions, health, gender and inclusion.

“This year more attention will be paid to the issues related to the climate change. We are ready to support Azerbaijan in connection with the climate change within the framework of COP and at the next stage,” she noted.
