Remains of 4 Azerbaijani martyrs, who went missing during First Garabagh War, were laid to rest - PHOTO

 

The remains of martyrs Elman Jamalov Huseyn, Javanshir Huseynov, Tahir Shirinov and Abulfaz Abilov, who went missing during the First Garabagh War and whose burial place and identity were recently identified, have been handed over to their family, Paralel.Az reports.

Elman Camalov, Javanshir Huseynov and Tahir Shirinov's remains were buried today at the Alley of Martyrs in the Mehdiabad settlement of Absheron district.

Elman Jamalov participated in the battles in Malibayli in November 1991. He went missing during the Dashalti operation in January 1992.

His remains were discovered 32 years later in a mass grave found around Dashalti and have been identified.

Note that Tahir Shirinov Shirin went missing on October 23, 1993, in Shukurbayli village of Fuzuli district, along with his father, Shirin Shirinov Bilal, his brother, Nazim Shirinov Shirin, and his cousin, Javanshir Huseynov Arshad.

Nazim Shirinov's remains were buried on June 7 in the Alley of Martyrs in Mehdiabad.

Abulfaz Abilov's remains were found in a mass grave located in Yukhari Seyidahmadli village of Fuzuli district 30 years later, and his identity was confirmed.
