On April 5, from 15:10 to 17:35, units of the Armenian armed forces attempted to the works of engineering improvement of the trench in front of the positions of the Azerbaijani Army in the direction of Hajali, Agbulag, Agdam, Garalar, Kohna Gishlaq and Galakand settlements of Tovuz district to lay the groundwork for further provocations, Paralel.Az reports citing the Ministry of Defence.

According to the Ministry, the works were stopped immediately as a result of urgent measures taken by the units of the Azerbaijan army: “In addition, at around 17:25, the positions of Azerbaijan army in the direction of Munjuglu settlement of Tovuz district were subjected to fire from the positions located in Chinarli settlement of Berd district."
