350 people became victims of landmines after Patriotic War - Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry

After the 44-day Patriotic War in 2020, 350 innocent people have lost their lives after the explosion of landmines planted by the Armenian side in Azerbaijan's territories that were once occupied by Armenia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan poste on X in this regard, Paralel.Az reports.

"Today, four Azerbaijani civilians became victims of another landmine explosion. Refusal by Armenia to provide accurate maps of landmines in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, delays the process of large-scale rehabilitation and reconstruction works as well as return of internally displaced persons and undermines peace building efforts in the region. International community should bring together efforts to eliminate the landmine threat in Azerbaijan," the Ministry noted.
