"Official Washington will continue to support sustainable peace in the South Caucasus," said the official representative of the US State Department, Matthew Miller, in a traditional briefing, Paralel.Az reports.

He said that recently the situation on the Azerbaijan-Armenia conditional border remains stable.

According to the official representative, the only way to achieve peace in the region is through constructive negotiations: "We have repeatedly stated that the escalation of the situation does not serve the interests of the region or the parties."
