Poland, Ukraine plan to sign security pact — PM

The Polish and Ukrainian authorities are planning to sign an agreement on security guarantees, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said on Poland’s Polsat TV channel, Paralel.Az reports.

"As of today, we have signed seven agreements on security [guarantees] with member states of the [North Atlantic] alliance. We expect to sign a similar agreement with Poland," the Ukrainian prime minister said. He emphasized that Kyiv is expecting "serious signals and steps" from NATO at the alliance's summit in Washington in July.
