Czechia delivers its remaining Mi-24/35 helicopter gunships to Ukraine — portal

The Czech Republic has donated its remaining Mi-24/35 helicopter gunships to Ukraine, the denikn.cz news portal reported, citing the country’s defense ministry, Paralel.Az reports.

The government approved the delivery of last Russian-made helicopters to Ukraine two week ago. According to the report, the republic has run out of military equipment that it could donate to Ukraine.

Mi-24/35 is the export version of Russia’s Mi-24 large helicopter gunship, whose serial production began in 1974 and continues to date. The Czech Republic used to be in the long list of countries that had them in service, but the rotorcraft were removed from service with the country’s Air Force a while ago.
