France's zeal serves to aggravate the issue, Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov told journalists, Paralel.Az reports.

"After the meeting initiated by Scholz, the significance of developing the peace process was mentioned and agreed upon. But immediately after that, the French President's statement, then the visit of the French Minister of Defense to Armenia, and his provocative statements are examples of this," Mr Bayramov said.

The Minister underlined that Azerbaijan's restoration of its territorial integrity and sovereignty worries many institutions and centers: "As a result, their favorite toys, so to speak, are being lost."
