Sentence of the accused in connection with the attack on the Embassy of Azerbaijan will be announced in the next few days
The sentence of the person accused of the attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran will be given in the near future, said Kazim Gharibabadi, the deputy of Iran's Justice and Judicial System for International Affairs - secretary of the Supreme Council for Human Rights, Paralel.Az reports.
Recall that on January 27, 2023, there was a terrorist attack on the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Tehran, the capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
At around 8:30 in the morning, the Iranian citizen Yasin Huseynzade, who committed the terrorist attack, opened fire on the security post with a Kalashnikov automatic weapon and killed the head of the security service, Orkhan Asgarov. Two employees of the security service of the embassy were injured while preventing the attack.
