In 2023, 228 811 thousand barrels of oil was transported through Türkiye’s territory via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, which is 1,5% more in annual comparison, Paralel.Az-Economics reports citing Türkiye’s "BOTAŞ" company.

According to information, 225 445 thousand barrels of oil were transported through the territory of Türkiye via BTC pipeline in in 2022, which is 12,64% more in annual comparison.

Recall that oil produced from Azerbaijan's Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli fields is imported via BTC pipeline. Additionally, the oil of other producers is also sent to the territory of Türkiye via BTC pipeline.
