Azerbaijan's budget revenues from non-oil sector rose by more than 13%

 

In 2023, budget revenues from the non-oil sector amounted to AZN 17 billion 418.4 million, accounting for 49% of total revenues, Paralel.Az-Economics reports citing Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

This is AZN 1 billion 267,6 million (7,8%) more than forecasted and AZN 2 billion 68,4 million or 13,5% more in comparison with 2022.

45.3% or AZN 16 billion 126.7 million of total revenues were received from tax revenues and state fees in the state budget, which is AZN 1 billion 139.7 million or 7.6% less than the forecast, and 583.7 million manats or 3.8% more in comparison with 2022.

Revenues from the non-oil sector accounted for 60.2% or AZN 9 billion 707.9 million of those funds, which was AZN 722.9 million or 8% more compared to the forecast, and AZN 1571.5 million or 19,3% more compared to 2022.

Tax revenues provided to the state budget for the oil and gas sector amounted to AZN 6418.8 million, which is AZN 416.8 million or 6.9% more than the forecast.
