Increasing the number of the mutual tourist visits between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia, expanding the tourist connections and prospects of cooperation have been discussed on January 15, in a meeting held between Faud Naghiev, Chairman of the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Azerbaijan Essam bin Saleh Al-Jutaili, the State Torism Agency of Azerbaijan told Paralel.Az.

Fuad Naghiev has stated during the meeting that, a series of marketing events will be organized in Saudi Arabia in 2024. Within the framework of the meeting opinion exchange was made on the visa simplification procedure for the citizens of Azerbaijan.

Fuad Naghiev also received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Azerbaijan Omar Barakat Al Nahar. During the meeting discussions of the issues of implementation of the mutual promotions and opening of direct flights were made.

During the meeting of the Chairman of the agency Fuad Naghiev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan Ilhom Abdurahmon exchanged views on conducting works on the direction of increasing the number of the existing flights between two countries and improving the mutual connections in the field of tourism.
