A 50 thousand square meters warehose caught fire near Russia's St. Petersburg, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia said, Paralel.Az reports citing Russian media.

25 units of equipment and 112 personnel were involved to put fire out that happened in the Pushkinsky district.

The press service Wildberries online retail store confirmed that the warehouse belongs to the company. The company noted that buyers will be refunded for lost orders, sellers will receive compensation for damaged or lost goods.

It was noted that the prosecutor’s office has begun an investigation about the incident.

Paralel.Az's Russian bureau reports that there is no information about the number of dead and injured people as a result of the fire yet.
